There is real magic in this world of ours. People are born every day with the ability to conjure creatures and heal grievous injuries. Among these witches there is The Order of The Pentacle. Five witches with the powers of fire, air, water, earth and magic itself. These witches protect mortal and witch alike from all manner of vicious beings. But what if they couldn't? What if there is an evil so shrouded in darkness that they couldn't see it coming before it was too late? What if a girl, so naive, so innocent, was the key to our salvation, or our demise?

The Marionetteʼs Puppeteer (Volume 1)
I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer! Will I survive in this new world despite knowing that I don't have a place to stay or food to eat? Note: This is more likely in Fantasy. Magic goes bruh broom brr. Also, there is some terms in this stories that is hard to understand like skills, ultimate skill, so read the prologue for that one. The Witching Hour
She went missing a year ago. Her friends, unable to find her. Now, she haunts their dreams, begging to be found. Welcome to Malachi Peak, where not everything is as it seems. - Buried in the cemeteries on the outskirts of Malachi Peak are more than the bodies of past residents. With them rest hundreds of years worth of secrets, pushed down so far that they haven't seen the light of day. The witches, those left after the Salem Witch Trials, went west, desperate to find a new home. Prevailing, they settled in what would eventually be Malachi Peak, Oregon and became the first pentacle to consecrate the land. On one fateful Halloween, today's Pentacle came together to complete their final bonding ceremony. As they were in the middle of it, darkness blanketed them. When they could finally see, one had just...disappeared. Fast-forward a year, things are starting to fall apart. Whispers among the factions say the witches are weak, that it's time for new leadership. The witch is still missing. The year anniversary has passed of her disappearance. Most presume she is dead and others refuse to believe she's gone. As powers escalate and the missing witch sends the Pentacle signs, the remaining members will have to unite to find her. I pulled the covers off my legs and tried to stand up. My attempt of standing up failed. But I tried again. I was so dizzy I fell against the nightstand, successfully catching Dante's attention. - Go back to sleep pet. He sternly stated. - I don't want to sleep with you watching me. - Can't you see I'm not even paying attention to you. He said not even making eye contact. - I don't care your mere presence is still annoying. I tried to stand again and I was finally able to stand on my feet. I looked up at the ceiling and whispered a thank you, for not embarrassing myself by falling down again. I made my way to the bathroom but my legs gave up on me half way through. I internally slapped myself and groaned. I fell down supporting my upper bodys weight with my shaking hands. I heard him sigh and saw him stand up. - Why can't you just listen to me once? He asked crouching down to my level. - I already told you why. He traced my lips with his thumb and held my chin up making me gaze into his dark eyes. - If you want to get up so badly, then you have ten minutes to shower and change. I want you outside all done. So I suck at descriptions but here we go: My name is Lola Jansen and I'm your typical 17 year old girl. I love to read, paint and mostly keeps to myself. I go to the Gifted High School because like most I am special. Here in The Mystic realm there are four kinds of people, elementalists, psychs, e-psychs and gypsies. Also outside our Kingdom lies the land of the creatures. There you will find werewolves, dragons, vampires and shifters. But they are blood thirsty beasts who kill anything that enters their land, or so we've been told. When my life is torn apart and destroyed I soon figure out who I am and there is no stopping my revenge. Our world as we know it is about to change and it's all up to me whether it changes for the better or worse. If I let the greater evil get me our world is over but I must find my strength and courage to over come all the trials I face.
