“Zara. . .”

Shivers raced down her spine as she continued to keep her gaze locked with those cool orbs. She couldn't look away, and if she was being honest with herself -she didn't want to. Never before had she felt a pull so powerful, so demanding. A shaky breath left her lips as he slowly closed the gap between them. 


“You feel the pull Zara. Don't deny it, I can see it burning in your eyes.” His hand moved to trace the smooth outline of her cheek. The simple feather touch threatened to cause Zara's undoing. 


“Mackenzie. . .” His pupils dilated and he took a shaky breath when his name left her lips. “Mack, we- I can't. Lau-” Mack's lips closed the distance in the blink of an eye and they covered hers completely.
