The first instalment in the Strange Wyrld series finds the Black Flag Army, under the evil Deus Mortem, scouring the mythical land of Midgard in their efforts to destroy the Elemental, an ancient force of Light. Princess Perri Silo and Gideon Voltaire, a time-travelling African-American wizard, work together with a couple of bounty hunters, Rufus and Fern, to stop the Black Flag, rescue an imprisoned monk and start a rebellion that will not only save the Elemental, but help save the wyrld. Will they succeed? What will be the cost?
