17 year old Brandon Levi James has never met his aunt, his mom's sister. She lives in Minnesota while he lives in California. He's always wanted to meet her because of the way his mother described her She said that her sister was fun loving, carefree, and always wore gypsy skirts. But the close sisters lost contact a year before Brandon was born.

After a sudden call from the same sister she asks that Brandon come out to stay over Christmas break. Figuring that she just wanted to meet her nephew his mom agreed.
