It's been 6 months since the Second Giant War, and Percy is depressed, Annabeth died during the fight and he's having difficulty moving on.  All of this changes when the gods betray and throw him in Tartarus.  There he's tortured by old enemies and comes out a changed man.  How will Percy be when he escapes? What will become of his life?
