The King of Ohadi sends his most trusted soldier, Captain Merric Greldor, to retrieve the book and end the threat once and for all. Merric journeys with an unlikely ally: a murderous thief named Kallista with a forgotten power. Together they must battle across a broken empire, fight fearsome beasts, help rally the oppressed and ultimately face off in a battle of the ages.
