Merric journeys with an unlikely ally: a murderous thief named Kallista with a forgotten power. Together they must battle across a broken empire, fight fearsome beasts, help rally the oppressed and ultimately face off in a battle of the ages. All while dealing with the spark of attraction that fuels the fire between them.
