Luis Germane. His looks made your head spin, words slur, and your heart flutter. He was 'Bad boy Germane', after all. He had a reputation that no one dare mess with, his charm and bad habits. He could get a girl to fall for him just by "hello". He treated girls like helpless prey, which to him, they were. And then he met me, Sawyer Donavan, the girl not afraid of anything, especially Luis Germane.

"All bets are on the table, Sawyer." He bites his lip and stares me down. I was not backing away from this! I was ready to take him on.

"What bets, Germane?" I raise an eyebrow. And stare back, harder. Makes me wonder if he knows what he's doing to me on the inside, he's tearing me apart, breaking me on the inside so my outer shell will just crumble.
