Felix Holloway's dad commits Felix to Hellingly Psychiatric Hospital, after his chronic depression led him to attempted suicide. While at Hellingly he befriends a variety of boys all suffering from mental illnesses as well. Among these boys is Vinnie, whose personality is as wayward and random as his hair. Felix, at his wits end, fears he won't be able heal surrounded by so many unstable boys and their hormones....
