It was the shadows in his eyes that separated him from the rest. It was the walls around himself that made him unreachable even just from plain sight. It was the way he holds himself, the silent scream for help in the late hours that I saw how much he needed help. The shattered pieces of himself that he was holding in his scarred, bleeding hands, the shattered pieces of himself that I wanted to fix.
