"No!" I jumped in front of her taking the shot right to my chest. I hit the ground with a loud thud as I held my chest in pain. I could hear a second gunshot go off but this time it was the one I was defending not the one attacking us. "You'll be okay. We need to get out of here..." After nukes have been launched to every corner of the globe the world is now a wasteland. To survive its kill or be killed. Now a young man has to live though this all with his only help being his two animal friends Zoey and Ashley. But will having to save his friends and lover be to much for him to handle? Or will he shine though and become a hero of the wasteland?

He yanks my sleeve up and looks at my arm. "I thought you told me you were fine." he sighs. "Well, I lied." I roll my eyes. . . . Rose is a teenager. You would think she's a normal, crazy, party animal, teen right? No, she's the exact opposite. She once was a "normal" teenager until people at school couldn't help but, bully her, leaving her no choice to be suicidal. That is until a football player brings the brightest out of Rose and shows her life is worth living for. The main idea of this story is Cliché. The suicidal girl falls in love with a boy and they live happily ever after, right? This time it's different. Not every story ends in a Happily Ever After.
