A lone boy struggles through prejudices handed down through generations. 
All his life he has been despised just for the fact that he can use magic.
For five long years he lived in solitude surviving day to day. 

The boy has no idea of the world around him, nor the turmoil brewing in far away lands were a single mage is threatening the lives of thousands. 

Circumstances put him into a castle where he learns more about magic and his abilities from a well experienced teacher. However he cannot learn enough. The threat of beasts and creatures has risen. Fire elves have a bond with the dragons who's volcanoes and islands they shared, a bond that would last generations. In the current day, there is one tribe remaining: the Ryoko Tribe. The name meant "woman who is like the dragon," a fitting name for a tribe led by a head woman. This woman was lady Hyria Tatsu, the eldest of the tribe. Her apprentice goes by the name of Mina Ryoto. Star and Moon, two dragonets, would only bond with Mina. None of the other children were able to bond with the two dragonets. This was one of the reasons Hyria had chosen Mina. Only those of great legends could bond with two beasts. It would be a hard road for her, but being this special could turn out for the best. The world might depend on her one day.
