My friend made this all up, none of this was my idea, so you can say a big thank you to her for making this happen.) So the spiral light at the center of the universe was shattered into 9 shards and the universe has been in chaos ever since. Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. I don't want to spoil anything else, so you have to read the book to find out what happens!

Shiro escaped from the galra's clutches because of a blue eyed water and ice mage, he meets allura and coran who took him in as an exchange Shiro must fight alongside allura as a paladin Keith was orphaned at a young age until he met shiro who took care of him, but years ago Shiro was taken by the galra and Keith made it his goal to train hard and rescue Shiro, he met allura who helped Shiro and now Keith was reunited with Shiro and joined allura as her red paladin Pidge was in a state of depression when allura first saw her, her brother and father was taken by the galra and studied to rescue her family and joined allura as her green paladin. she's a genius and is able to manipulate non-living objects. Hunk wanted to become a great cook, but because of the galra's reign his dream was crushed. His family is captured by the galra and he lives with his uncle and was found by allura for his mastery in mechanics and culinary. Allura Is a princess before zarkon attacked and took over her kingdom, for 1 year she's been storing her magic to defeat zarkon and haggar in one attack, she gathered four paladins and only needs the blue paladin, once she has found all 5 paladins, she and the five paladins must search for the five lions of voltron. Coran is a master healer and has assisted allura on her mission to overthrow zarkon in order to once again reclaim her crown and rebuild the kingdom they once lost.
