This is a story that does not start at the beginning. This story begins at an end. «» Bailey Lazarus detests her life. She has five peevish siblings, lives in ramshackle cottage, has an unstable mother who can't even afford new shoes for her children, and a dead best friend. Life couldn't be more miserable. Parker Conway has nearly conquered his dream of becoming an Olympic swimmer. He's knew in town and the only thing he wants more than a successful career is the girl he can't have. When Bailey and Parker meet the world is shaken to its core. Bailey finds herself in a battle between pushing away the people trying to care for her and pushing away the vivid hallucinations leaking into her life. Parker struggles to keep his grip on Bailey because if she pushes him away, there's no getting her back. Never did Bailey consider that maybe the secret to her healing lied in the wound.
