Emi and Kara had known each other since they were little, but Emi isn't any ordinary Midgardian. She had the ability to use magic and even teleport, but she didn't like displaying her abilities in fear that the government or worse people would try and use her as a weapon. Her friend Kara is in a similar boat but she, however, is very much Midgarden, she just has the ability to manipulate the elements, and she has permissions. They try to live a normal life, but that's all thrown away when the god of mischief shows up and ruins everything.
I thought I should add that this isn't based on the movies, but there are references to the movies.

What Happened?
This is a story about the Avengers, but not a normal one. Let me explain. While Loki is on Earth the Earth's Mightiest Heros (the Avengers) go to stop him (A miss understanding). As they are fighting something goes wrong with one of the spells that Loki casts upon them. Turning everyone of the Avengers into animals. The only way to fix this is to get Loki to reverse the spell. In the meantime, they get taken in by a woman named Phoenx. She has no idea that the animals she found on the street are actually the Avengers but through the struggle of finding Loki and beating Phoenx's own demons, they come together and make a pretty good team in the end.
