Living a double life as a princess and a vigilante, Saya struggles to defeat magical threats, learn her place in the royal court, and find love with her vigilante partner despite their hidden identities.

By day, Saya is a princess -- third in line to the throne of Ralais.

But after dusk, she dons the alter ego 'Axis' and joins the magical vigilante Silver to hunt down mysterious, destructive Shadows that threaten her city.

At first, it's fun: prim politics by day, fighting and flirting on rooftops by night. But the Shadows keep coming no matter how many are cut down, and the creatures seem to have some insidious higher purpose. As Axis and Silver struggle to uncover long-lost secrets and end the Shadows once and for all, Saya must also make sense of her growing feelings for Silver.

Little does she know that his true identity is a man not too far removed from her princess life...
