Meet energetic, literal sunshine, Pastel Poppins. She lives a relatively sweet life with co-owning a bakery with her mother, Mary. Their life was as perfect as cream on a cake. Well, that is until the frosting spilled.
Pastel was sent to high school to learn the ways of real school. There she meets charming people, including sweet as marzipan frosting, Alice, and sour but sweet as a tart, Elijah.
During her high school life, she will learn that life isn't always sweet. She will face many hardships including bullying, bad food fights, and falling in love.
Can she make the cake perfect in the end or will it tumble to the ground?

"I don't want you to freak out..." mom tells me with a soft sigh. Rubbing her fingers against her forehead as she looks puzzled. Thats been her attitude since she came home from her business trip. Worried. "Tell me." I demand trying to become less impatient than I already am. Which at this point isn't possible. "I'm getting married.." - Gracelyn Marigo a 15 yr old, her mom is a single parent after her father's passing away years before. She is a bubbly, sarcastic girl. She lights up a room as soon as she arrives. She expects her mother to married another at some point, but what she doesn't expect is for her mother to marry a man with 6 sons. Her soon to be stepbrothers. With the new transition, directed anger is a constant companion of hers. They hate her, but she finds out that their family has a lot sadder secrets than they let on. Not having a choice, but to live there. She wants to try and uncover them and solve them.
