The city of Hyrule might seem like a perfect utopia - Hylians live among Gorons, Zora, Rito and Gerudo in harmony, and people of all walks of life can live as they choose. However, recent gang violence is on the rise, and with law enforcement wholly incapable of stamping the problem down, vigilantes begin to take matters into their own hands. Link is one of these vigilantes - A first year in high school, navigating his education with his destiny.
Saying Goodbye
"....How? ....How did it come to this? The Divine Beasts... the Guardians.... they've all turned against us. It was... Calamity Ganon. It turned them all against us!" The Kingdom of Hyrule had been preparing for Ganon's return since Zelda was only months old. But a now grown-up Zelda stood, well sat, collapsed on the ground of a Neculdian field with the man she loved bleeding out in her arms. There had never been a Zelda who'd failed, a Link who allowed darkness to reign, but Hyrule had fallen dead. The fight had been lost. At the scream of the scared sword, Zelda was alone. Scared, injured, pregnant... alone. But she was the final descendant of Hylia. She had to fight on, even if alone. The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! There will be a sequel. Contains spoilers. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR ANYTHING/MONOLOGUE THAT HAPPENED IN THE GAME, it belongs to Nintendo. When Link left Hyrule after the Twilight Invasion, he left Princess Zelda with a broken heart. He promised her that he would come back to Hyrule; back to her. But what happens when death attempts to interfere with a promise made long ago? (Post Twilight Princess) I love the movie for Princess Bride, and I thought it would be cool to make a LOZ version of it XD. It takes place after Twilight Princess :).
