In December of 1873 two sisters Alannah and Kaitlyn O'Brien were shipped to America being separated by their families along with millions of other Irish people because of a war. America and Ireland were not fond of each other due to unfinished business but some American's are willing to take in these abandoned people for it's the only safe place. People had to be taken into America quickly and discretely by cargo trains at night. The Irish were given their homes by the color of the pin on their coats with the color of the Christmas wreaths on peoples front doors. The other American's wouldn't think anything of this because it is nearly Christmas time. The particular home taking in Alannah and Kaitlyn was the Williams, One of the most wealthiest families in Connecticut, their children Annie and Daniel treat the twins nicely, while Mr. and Mrs. Williams do not, they use the open home as a chance to have their own free working slaves, torching and locking them up, Kaitlyn and Alannah realize they need to escape before it's too late, but how will they do it?
