Phoenix Anderson wants nothing to do with the League of Superheroes. He's not sure why he's avoiding the good guys, but then again, there's a lot he doesn't know.

Like the fact that his family history is a lot stranger than it seems.

After getting some unexpected news, he realizes that he's more involved than he thought he would be. Events start unfolding one after another, including a house up in flames, a heist, a dangerous city, and a plot that spells trouble for everyone.

Raised up to be an Assassin where he has a best friend whom later on caused a lot trouble. Through kindness he later on found the love and some peace. Jack Carter is your semi-average guy. Sixteen, 5' 11, charcoal black hair, and a slight muscle build. The rich popular kid that everyone adores. Until his life takes a turn for the better and worse.
