No one loves fiction stories quite as much as Remi, but sometimes tales in books are made out to seem much better than they actually are. When a party is disrupted by a zombie outbreak Remi can barely believe it and all too soon she has to go from a lazy, awkward teenager to a killer. Everything around her begins to change and what once was supposed to be a great adventure turns into a tale of drama, love, and betrayal. War is coming. The world is infested with the undead but the humans still fight amongst themselves. Keaton is stuck right in the middle of the conflict. He can either choose to stand with his people and fight or he can save his own skin and face the world alone. He is trapped in Death's cold and ever tightening grip. The Lycan race is dying and there's nothing they can do about it but watch their race die out. Since then they have resided in a cave sleeping until they were disturbed by people roaming around. Awoken in a fit of rage the group of Lycans chased out the humans and killed them. Feeding off of the humans got them their strength back unless the host was sick then they would have to fight off the sickness themselves. They decided that the best way to repopulate their species is to breed any and all women. Now all that stand are five lycanthropes who have to adjust to the new world, feed without being discovered, and breed with women. Mortal women.

After an explosion at a medical lab downtown a group of teenagers set out to find missing loved ones. While heading to the hospital they run into a girl, who's being chased by two men who seem to be desperate to take a bite out of her. While saving her they notice one of the men is missing part of his face. Will they be able to make it to safety, or will they become one of the dead. Throw on top of it that one of them seems to be getting visions of the future and they learn a startling piece of information about how the dead have come back to life.
