Mick is second in command aboard commercial fishing boat The Myth. With eight souls onboard they troll hundreds of miles off shore.
Resting in their net is a sphere the size of a small camper but somehow weighing only as much as a balloon. Captain Gunner is puzzled, but decides to salvage the strange object in hopes of recovery fees.
In the early hours first mate Mick, awakens to a silent ship, with engines down, and backup red emergency lights on.

Swept from your bed in the dead of night, you are hauled onto an alien spacecraft. What happens when the being on board wants much more than just to experiment on you? You lead a solitary and mediocre life, until one night when you wake up strapped down to a hard, metal bench. From above, extraterrestrial gadgets terrorise you. From the shadows, a being with a glowing robotic eye watches you. When you wake up back in your bed, you are not convinced that it's just a nightmare. You are proved right when you are abducted again and again and again. The alien cannot leave you alone. Despite his "designations" and "protocols", he wants more. Something deeper. Something more profound. And he wants it from you. With no other choice, you flee into the woods. Lost, hungry and cold, you collapse. When next you wake, you discover you've been rescued by a mysterious woodsman with a misshapen face. But that's not the strangest thing about him. Sweet, affectionate, tender--he is everything you never expected. It seems good men do exist--as long as the bad ones don't catch up with them.
The Thing in the vents that eats people
Castaway into outerspace, a nameless alien comes across a doomed ship that is overrun with terrifying alien life forms. If only they could convince the crew and passengers to take the threat seriously and escape in time. Their only possible ally is the comms operator, who is going slightly mad after spending months afloat on a floating coffin. Time is running out, the thing in the vents that eats poeple is getting closer. Science Fiction/Horror Trigger/Content Warning: the narrator relates the death of their family, which may be unsettling for some readers. Grotesque violence during certain parts, as well as horror imagry.Complet
