I'm not normal. I just know I'm not. 

I constantly have horrific nightmares about demons hunting me down and fairies pleading for my help saying that they need me.  I just can't seem to get them out of my mind. I feel that they'll haunt me for the rest of my life. And that I'll never be sane. 

But they're just dreams... right?

Katheryn Matthews is a quiet and reserved 18-year-old girl. She has a normal life and she plans to live it as such just like everybody else.

Or so she thinks. Of course Katheryn isn't as normal as she wants to be.  She begins to realize that she has strange supernatural abilities and intense visions when she is alone that she can't seem to comprehend.

Are the nightmares and hallucinations she's had since she was a young girl be an actual reality about her real life, family, and origins? Or is she just insane as she feels?

When things finally seem to go back to normal it all blows up in their face one more time, this time the explosion is so big people die and Alex is forced to kill. Will she be able to ever become a normal teenganger again, especially after meeting so many people and seeing so many of them die one by one in front of her eyes. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. Reapers keep taking lives, and Humans continue feering them. and so, the couple grabbed their baby girl; Staffie. their hellhound; Unicorn and grabbed their death scythe's. -one year later- they arrived in a human city where some friends lived. "Mitch, what are we going to do now?" "we will live like humans for as long as possible. and, if we're lucky, we can keep this awful fate of being a Reaper from our daughter." he said looking down at the small child holding his hand tightly. and they did keep being a Reaper from her. and, when she turned 18 the decided they should tell her; but not empty handed. so they left to get her a death scythe. little did they know; they would never see her again. and she would have to figure it out on her own.
