The IPC certification programs are based on an industry-wide IPC standard. These standards are determined by input from industry typically consisting of consultants, OEMs, contract manufacturers, suppliers, training companies etc. These IPC certification programs cover both hands-on skills as well as discrimination skills. The hands-on programs consist of the following: J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721, IPC-A-600, and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
