Jake Dennis is a teenager whose past was rough. His parents left him, his grandparents couldn't raise him. So now he lives with his cousin Deg Matrigo in Frendale, USA. Now attending Frendale Falls High School, he finds the love of his life, Mavis Ruess. After only living there for two months, a meteor crashes in the city. Jake goes to it not knowing what to expect. The meteor talks to Jake and tells him of the Angiris Council.

At first, he never really thought about him, but then as he goes on, he begins to develop feelings for him like he'd never imagine. He runs into some trouble along the way but he stays strong with the help of Seth and with the help of his friends.
