// BOOK ONE
This is a short story to build a platform for the character Carmen Johnna Erskine. This is to give you background information on how she has come to the life she is living now. I know it skips around a lot and it's super short but there is going to be a book two so her story is definitely not over.
Also all German in this book is definitely wrong. I'm apologizing now because I do not speak German and google translate was my best friend while writing this. Even though google translate is wrong it did the best it could.

But at the end of the day they find hope, in a train, as 'death' awaits one of them. But prior to all that, prior to when the problems truly begin, it starts with three teen best friends, Steven 'Steve' Rogers, James 'Bucky' Barnes, and Carmen Ripley, all living Brooklyn. Their friendship began with a football landing in swim loving teen, Carmen. And slowly their story moves to three adult best friends facing the problems of Earth.
