Twin sisters Holland and Tatum Tammin are the only ones of their kind. That's rather typical when you're born a cross-breed, and even more so when you're a cross-breed's daughters. And to narrow it down even more, their cross-breed mother, Miranda, just so happens to be one of the most powerful immortals in the world. 

This makes their lives very difficult because a) Their mother has created a huge target on their family's backs, b) cross-breeding is extremely illegal and punishable by death, and lastly, c) the largest immortal war is about to commence and they are simply not ready....
