It is right after the Final Battle in Ninjago, and the ninja team needs a break- desperately. To relax, Sensei Wu, now united with his brother Garmadon, take the ninja ( and Nya ) up to the Ninjago Camp Grounds for some peaceful relaxation... Or so they think. After a night of scary tales, young Lloyd Garmadon is scared, and the ninja use this against him. As a result, the team is divided... Until the next day, when they wake up, and Lloyd's parents and Sensei Wu have gone missing! The only thing remaining from them- An ominous note, threatening the ninja if they dare go search. They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet.
