Her humble parents don't support her rebellion or her boyfriend Dani. Dani and Foster play a "game"opening portal. Foster goes in but Dani doesn't,leaving him to erase Fosters parents memory of ever having a daughter. With Dani's "self and others harm" phase, he did not know Foster loves drawing, leaving a drawing on the wall of her self portrait with her signature. Fosters brain wiped mom finds the drawing and starts to recall memories.
