This is a BakuDeku fanfiction. Their latest battle took a turn for both Katsuki and Izuku after defeating the villain "Nine" to the point where they were asked in babysitting Katsuma and Mahoro instead of helping their classmates with fixing the island. However, the two feel this push and pull whenever they are individually isolated but they didn't really acknowledge it much. What they did notice, tho, was how their behaviour changed drastically when speaking to each other, but nor Katsuki or izuku said anything about it, too afraid to bring it up. But alas, Izuku get's enough courage to ask Katsuki why he's being nicer towards him then normal. Katsuki had been giving Izuku money and gifts since part way through Middle School in exchange for the green-haired boy to stay away from Katsuki, but eventually, it slowly changed to be deals that if Katsuki gives Izuku money, he had to do XYZ. Essentially, Izuku walks up to Katsuki and asks him about some merch he wanted and Katsuki gave him the money for it in exchange for him to do various things like triple check his homework, go to bed at a reasonable hour, stop eating unhealthy food for X amount of days, etc. This didn't change when they entered UA, the two used to being subtle about this unique aspect of their relationship.
