Gumball and Marshall are still going to school. A month ago school started again which doesn't bother Marshall at all.
Gumball is being bullied (Yes also by Marshall)- which is one of the reasons why he is depressed. He is really emo for which he gets bullied even more.
Marshall is a fuckboy. He is the coolest guy in school and fucks literally everyone who is not on the tree untill three. Yes. Even some teachers.
He bullies Gumball and other people of course but as soon as he found out about Gumball's secret, he started to be nicer.
Gumball and Marshall hate each other, but soon they start to.. get along and maybe they even like each other.

Gumball had asked him on multiple occasions what was wrong, but all he got in response was "it hurts" and after Gumball comes and sits next to Marshal, he hears marshal saying that the pulsing got faster.
