There are reasons why Ash has never been with one of the girls he meets and possibly travels with. Though there is a main reason, he is already dating someone and that someone is Gary Oak. They started dating a few months after they became friends again. There are only four other people that know and they are Misty, Brock, Professor Oak, and Delia.
