I wrote extra chapters for the book 'The Lost Track of Time' by Paige Britt in the eighth grade. I have been meaning to post them here for a few years now, but only now remembered because I am writing a short story based on 'The Lost Track of Time'. I understand that it isn't that great now, but I was super proud of my self when I was younger, so try not to be too harsh.

In the complicated jungle which we call high school one can find jocks, cheer leaders, Goths, nerds, athletes' etc. etc. and then there's me. Brittney Matthews. I would be described as the unimportant girl who keeps out of everyone's way and keeps to herself. It's not quite fun to be classified as 'unimportant' but its not hard to remove such status at West Point High. Make one mistake and you're scarred for the rest of your high school days. Thankfully graduations coming up and I'm almost done, but that's gona be a task when I'm failing the 'hated by all' Algebra I'm not the smartest of the bunch but I do well. It's not that I can't pass but the teacher teaching it; Mrs. Hastings, she's a real slug, she makes everything boring.
