Stiles wasn't normally one to get jealous. Okay, so that's a huge lie, he can get jealous very easily. He gets jealous when Scott picks to hang out with Allison instead of him, he gets jealous when his dad picks to go on a date with Melissa instead of staying home with him, and he sure as hell gets jealous when Derek spends all of his time trying to train Scott rather than spending time with him.
