Rio Habashi is a Japanese exchange student at the International Academy of Magic Users in Minnesota. The school is one of the most advanced in the training of children with three Aparides or more, the equivalent of GPA in their world. Rio is okay with speaking English, but she is having difficulties with the cultural differences like referring to someone by their first name, not their last name, which can cause some confusion. This world is obviously different, in that science isn't a thing. The study of Magic replaces science, as their world is completely dependent on it. Electricity isn't a thing, but Lightning Stones are.

A few cities and towns all over the world have been victims of a phenomenon called 'world transferration', leaving what so-called a populist city into a vast forest as they were thousands of years ago. These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
