Melanie has always been quiet. She never really made herself known, and she never got in trouble.

Niall was the opposite. He was loud, disruptive, and one of the most popular guys in school. But he did have a good side. He never chased girls --although they chased him-- and he was nice to everyone.

Almost everyone.

When Melanie develops a crush on Niall, she's confused. They're nearly exact opposites.

As she tries to get close to Niall, she finds out she's the embodiment of everything he hates in a girl.

Will she go to untold lengths to get him, or will she shy away like she has her whole life?

Falling for Imperfect Clowns

10 parts Complete

Sophie Hall had never really given much thought about the popular Louis Tomlinson, who she guessed, didn't even know her name, until one fateful day in the halls of their school. Little did she know, that little encounter would change everything. On the other hand, Emily Beckham, her best friend, and Niall Horan have been classmates in math class where they'd sneak in food so they could eat. She'd liked him from the beginning but she's having doubts about him ever liking her back. Does he? How does he get the courage to ask her the most important question to a girl in highschool? Note * this is a prologue fanfic. (sequel will be up in a few days as well as one shots related to this)
