Maura Isles is new to Sacramento California. She barely knows people except for her coworkers at the Coroner's Office, coworkers from the Sacramento Sheriff's office, her twin sister, Katelyn Martin and her wife Rony Martin, her employees and their families who work for her in Lodi, Caliornia. She moved here to get away from her bilogical father, Patrick aka Patty O'Doyle the leader of the Irish mob in Boston. Katelyn told her all of the Rizzolis finally moved here too and having excellent jobs here. This is why she finally moved here.
