Her innocence grows apparent from the moment she stepped off the plane, she didn't understand why she was there, but a few weeks later it becomes clear. One cool November morning she skates into the self-destructive path of Alan Ashby, a raging tornado of inner struggles. Despite being polar opposites, they find each other painfully intriguing, perhaps too intriguing. They create a list of things December's mother would never let her do, and made it their goal to do every single one of them. Funny how a list of 20 things can change someone so drastically∥

After losing her father to his job, Victoria's life quickly takes a 180 when her mother marries a strange man just months after to her husband's death. Having been a minor at the time Victoria had no say in the matter when her mother decided that they would live with Mark in the the middle of nowhere. When the people she runs into start saying strange things, Victoria starts to assume the worst of her mother's husband. Thinking that they weren't safe she takes her mother and she runs for the hills...but time changes things and when things change, people change. Victoria finds herself alone and spiraling down a path of self destruction and what she had refused to believe continued to throw itself in front of her. Can she come to terms with the reality of the everyday world or will she follow her hero to his grave?
