This is all my own poetry that I thought I'd share and see if others can relate.
Also, a lot of my poems are/were about my home life which as you can tell from reading them wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.
And for the ones who are also having trouble at home, It will pass. You're going to grow up and do great things. You don't have to be who your parents are.

This is a collection of poems and pieces of writing. That I have written over the last 2 years of my life. I've never been one to actually live. To take the risk. A lot of the things I have written are about things that have happened in my head. Or random thoughts that have popped into my head that I was able to make more of. Everyone has a dark secret that they never want shared. but can these two fall in love without there life changing secrets being revealed to one another. Theodore Jones a london boy living in america. Is it by choice...well... He lived with his father in London until he was 14 and life changing events threatened his safety so he was sent to America to live with his mom. sad thing is, he was a result between to heart broken people who just wanted to have sex so when Theo's mom got pregnant with him whilst already having 4 small boys who's father just died, she thought it was better to send him to his father and never speak to him until he was 14. This resulted in Theo feeling alone unloved and unwanted living in a mansion full off people who was meant to call family. Now brooklyn live in new York before a tragic incident up rooted her whole life and moved it to california, night mares and fears consumes her everyday. What happens when to broken people meet. Will they lift eachother out of the darkness or will they suffer in silence
THAT FIRST BREAK (Broken Redemption Prequel 1)
Choosing her cost me everything I'd ever loved... including her. I had everything a guy could ask for, a loving family, the perfect small-town life, and a promising future I had worked hard for. It should have been enough. She was off-limits, my parent's best friend's daughter, practically my sister. I fought my feelings, pretending our soul-deep connection didn't exist. When she confessed she felt the same, I pushed her away, believing our friendship mattered more than temporary infatuation. That she agreed should have come as a relief, but it left me with this void I didn't know how to fill. It's what drove me to the bonfire that night. Right there, with our friends as witnesses, I claimed her. Told her I loved her and made her promises I shouldn't have made. Hours later, it all came crashing down in a whirlwind of fire and ashes. That one split-second choice to go after a girl that wasn't meant for me cost me everything I loved. I never should have crossed that line or given in. It's why she'll forever be my greatest love and deepest regret. This tragic story is the beginning of our end...
Catastrophically Carla (Lesbian Story)
Ages 14+ (lesbian concepts and some profanity) This is not your everyday love story, okay? It's not a chick flick either. The events and themes within my pages have meaning, depth, truth-and most of all, reality. You are about to be taken on an adventure about a girl who's life is not like everybody else's. I look like a normal teen girl, I mean, I have hair and two eyes and two hands and feet like everybody else, but I couldn't feel more different. I have two moms, yes. Let's just get that out there before you start reading and close my diary like everyone in my life has shut me out of theirs. All I want is a normal life with normal friends who don't judge me because of my home situation. I don't even remember the last time I went on a sleepover or called somebody my age. I don't mean to be a downer, because it does get better. Life gets better. Struggles are only temporary, I know that now. And by my last words reach your eyes, I've come a long way, and have grown to see potential in myself. I'm sharing this with you because I want to make a difference. I know now that I'm not the only one in the world that feels alone. I've been there, done that, and there's more loneliness to come, but for now, I feel more prepared for it. I know how it feels to sit by yourself at lunch every day and how it feels to watch others go to prom with dates and feel like shit because you don't think you'd even have any friends to go with. Black Heart (GirlxGirl, lesbian)
Have you ever felt so broken that you couldn't pull yourself out of bed and continue to live your life like you used to. A simple task such as tying your shoes already seems like a huge burden on your account. Struggling with yourself because everything around you doesn't matter anymore. That's mainly because she broke my heart. Who knew love could turn a person around. Who knew love would hurt this bad. Who knew love can make you feel numb. A simple word yet it has an enormous impact in everyone's life. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm not blaming it all on her, though there are things you just wish you could take back and redo because of the feeling it gave you. And because of those traumatic event, I turned into a complete opposite of me. Well, that's until I met...her. You'd think that I've learned my lesson but she's different. I'm that cold-hearted until she drop down here on earth and save my miserable, sorry ass. A girl who doesn't know how to give up. A girl who's filled with happiness in a way that if you stare at her, there's this feeling you can't explain and it just lightens your mood. A girl who's friends with everyone because of her pure and innocent soul. A girl that can certainly light up a god d*mn world with her personality. ... And a girl who made me feel again. A girl who made me fall in love again. A girl who made me forget all the things that I've been through because she made my present more than just worth living, and my future to be worth looking forward to. And she made me fall in love with her harder than anyone did. Harder than anybody could. And I wouldn't mind to fall over and over again if at the end of the line, she's there to catch me.Complete
