Vikr has lived in a confined household all her life because her mother is afraid of people of other faiths.Her father abandoned the Catholic religion when she was a little girl and her mother has never recovered.
Once Vikr gets a place to her own away from her mother's tyranny she adopts her brother.The two enjoy a less religious life and get their relationships back together.
But through it all something is watching the two lose more and more of their faith and believe me...that won't go unpunished.
