This is a book about a 16 year old girl, who's life starts to change in drastic ways. She becomes something she's not, not human. She was turned by another, Katherine Pierce. But the thing is, her town knows theres bloodsuckers. She has to hide what she is for as long as she can. Therefore, she continues being a non-important and unnoticed maid. However, hiding her identity is not all she has to do. Another one of her kind is in the town causing mayhem, killing innocent people. Victoria must find a way who it is and stop them before everyone is dead and then her. So read this book if you want to travel with Victoria's story.
