Every little girl has wanted to be a princess: the pretty dresses, the balls and the princes. It was like a fairytale dream come true.

Astrid Wellington has quickly learned that the life of a socialite, indulging in riches was nothing of the fairytale sort: snobby, rich people surround her daily, and she's forced to put up with the life she'd never wanted. Going to a private school with the spawn of sociaites had been the worst of her worries. At least she was accustomed to it.

However, what Astrid wasn't prepared for was to be suddenly whisked off to a foreign country on the coast of South America to step in as the Crown Princess of Aldern.

And nothing could have possibly prepared her for the pressures that came with playing princess.

Enjoy! / WPOV- I watched in awe as the carriage door opened and the guards carelessly hefted a small boy out. He appeared to be unconscious and I panicked when I saw the blood dripping from his jet black hair. "Be careful with him! He's hurt!" I yelled. They only shrugged and placed the boy in my arms. My heart surged. After one look at him, I saw how completely beautiful he was. \ NPOV- I scrambled to my feet, terrified of what the prince would do with me, but my head pounded and I felt my legs shake and give out. I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again. I opened my eyes to see the Prince's worried eyes as he held me steady in his arms.

In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position.
