A Different World Was a TV Show that aired for six seasons on NBC from September 24, 1987 to July 9, 1993. During that time it covered alot of issues of that time including abuse, rape, HIV/AIDS as well as everyday life of a college student, it was also known for the on and off again relationship of African-American supercouple Dwayne Wayne & Whitley Gilbert. The primise of the original show was inspired by student life at Hampton University, Spelman College, and Howard University, all historical black colleges. Now 30 Years Later let's see how life for Students at Hillman College is Now, in this story you'll see alot of familiar faces as well as new faces.
