Kees, a 6 year old kitten, has always wanted to be a familiar like other creatures like him, but unlike his "friends", he's small and hardly magical. Alone after being bullied by other cat familiar he stumbles into the arms of Jonah, a girl who is very much like him in many aspects. She does not seem magical at all, let alone like a witch, but this is only an afterthought of the adoption and love she gives him.
