Alexander Hamilton has been on his own for as long as he could remember. Even since he was a child, some of his earliest memories are those of being alone on the island he was born on, Nevis. His father left when he was a young child, and his mother fell ill and died when he was only the tender age of 12. Those experiences shaped Alexander into the man he is now; a hard working, loyal, strong, independent, dedicated, intelligent, man.
