Zelda's eyes were glued to the page of the old, tattered book, her eyebrows burrowing deeper into her brow.

"Blessed by the Goddesses, Zelda and her companion Link the Hylian champion, had once again defeated the great evil and saved this land. Thus, this ends the journey with the Princess and the Hylian champion once more, another adventure to be expected once again in a new generation."
---
If you see someone being turned down in the middle of the park, would you go and comfort the person that got turned down? Not really, right? Well, what Zelda had done was comfort the poor boy, known as Link, from a heartbreak she never experienced. But that's all she had done, she didn't expect that their relationship from strangers would turn out to be bigger than that; she never expected that the person she had met will be the start of something new emotionally and mentally.

As well as put the fate of their own land into their own hands.

"Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. [This story is set in a fusion of Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, with a couple tweaks and some familiar faces'n'places from older games joining along the way!] Thank you for the #1 spot in the Zelda tag! 💗 And thank you for #1 in PrincessZelda and #2 in Zelink! Blighted Memories by Bard13
42 parts Complete
Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. But how long can a disgraced hero last in the face of his failures? Cover art designed by @DaybreakVision on Twitter. Some themes may be upsetting to some readers. Viewer discretion advised. The Legend of Zelda: The Fall of Hyrule ✔️ by -KatyWritesStuff-
24 parts Complete
When the three goddesses of the Triforce unintentionally grant the Princess of Hyrule the Triforce of Power, and the evil locked away from the world the Triforce of Wisdom, everything is in chaos as it was before, only it's the princess this time who's causing the trouble. Zelda had been power hungry for years. Years before the mark of the Triforce of Power appeared on the back of her hand, she'd always thrown fits if something didn't go her way. Now, at only seventeen and fully gifted with the Triforce of Power, she made sure things went her way, and her way only. Ganondorf had escaped the Sacred Realm somehow, and returns to the Gerudo Village in peace. Accidentally blessed with the Triforce of Wisdom, he acknowledges the Gerudo's hard work and thrives to make his village a better place for everyone. Link, still possessing the Triforce of Courage, has been assigned to be Zelda's personal bodyguard and do something horribly wrong to please her majesty, which he does not partake in ever doing. Fate brings Link and Ganondorf face to face. Somehow, Link and Ganondorf team up and secretly plot against the princess to stop her vile plans to make Hyrule miserable. After all, it was Courage and Wisdom who saved Hyrule all those times before, right? •• [Post OoT; Before the events of TP] The Legend of Zelda belongs to Nintendo. You are the Hylian champion, chosen to be so a century ago. Waking up in the Shrine of Resurrection is a shock, but having no memories to go along with that isn't helping. You listen to the stories you're told, though. You need to save Hyrule and the Princess. Those you meet along the way will be of great help to you. And some of these friends you make will do more than just guide you along your journey... much more. TL;DR: There is no Link lol. You a r e Link. But, y'know, a girl.
