Zelda's eyes were glued to the page of the old, tattered book, her eyebrows burrowing deeper into her brow.

"Blessed by the Goddesses, Zelda and her companion Link the Hylian champion, had once again defeated the great evil and saved this land. Thus, this ends the journey with the Princess and the Hylian champion once more, another adventure to be expected once again in a new generation."
---
If you see someone being turned down in the middle of the park, would you go and comfort the person that got turned down? Not really, right? Well, what Zelda had done was comfort the poor boy, known as Link, from a heartbreak she never experienced. But that's all she had done, she didn't expect that their relationship from strangers would turn out to be bigger than that; she never expected that the person she had met will be the start of something new emotionally and mentally.

As well as put the fate of their own land into their own hands.

Blighted Memories by Bard13
42 parts Complete
Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. But how long can a disgraced hero last in the face of his failures? Cover art designed by @DaybreakVision on Twitter. Some themes may be upsetting to some readers. Viewer discretion advised. What if Mipha put her love for Link and concern for Zelda ahead of Daruk's plan to rush to her Divine Beast? This story takes place in an AU that begins on the day of the Great Calamity. There is no time travel and the sequel to this story is "Love in Zora's Domain". This is a work of fan fiction using characters and events from the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is owned and copyrighted by Nintendo. I obviously do not claim any ownership of the world or its characters. This writing is a work of my imagination and is for entertainment only. It is not part of the official Nintendo storyline. Spoiler Warning: This story has spoilers if you have not completed the game including the expansion packs. I would like to clarify my approach to managing comments. I welcome all feedback, both positive and negative, as long as it's expressed respectfully. Comments containing offensive language will be removed, as they do not align with the intended tone of my narratives or the expectations of our audience. Constructive criticism and questions about certain choices in the storyline are appreciated and respected. However, I find it tiresome and unproductive when individuals use comments to disparage one plot element after another, chapter by chapter, indicating their fundamental displeasure with many aspects of the story. I hope it's clear these stories are a work of my imagination about hypothetical events in a fictional world. Obviously your vision or interpretation of possible events may differ. To those readers who find so much fault with the stories that they're compelled to deluge us with negative comments, I would politely suggest they move on to stories more to their liking. I have no intention of rewriting mine.

How A Princess Fights.

62 parts Complete Mature

When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. I love feedback so comment on anything and everything, and correct me if you think I'm wrong. Be warned, there maybe smut but it is minimal. #1 Zelink OH MY HYLIA! THANKS!
