You wake up. You stare at the ceiling.
Remembering the events of last night. "Prisoner number 145 get up!" A Galra soldier calls. It was the same one who threw you in here. "I said get up!" He yelled. You slowly get up but then you hear a explosion. "Voltron is attacking! We need every soldier on the west side!" A loud voice on the intercom. The soldier runs towards the explosion. Forgetting that the door was open. You run out and get knocked down. You look up and it's a boy with pale skin and black hair. He holds out his hand "come on let's go." He says. You take his hand and run with the boy.
This is a Keith x Reader story. That may include cussing. Okay yeah it's going to include cussing. Hope you enjoy! :,)

"From all the things I pictured in my future life, nothing could have prepared me for this." --- When Lance forced you and the others to a night out, you had no choice but to join them. Through a series of completely unexpected events, though, the "night out" ended up being a rescue mission for Shiro, the pilot of the Kerberos mission. You all ended up somehow becoming the Paladins of Voltron, so you knew the fate of the universe was in your hands. It was time for you and the team, especially you and Keith, to step up and overcome your conflicts and start to become proper teammates, or perhaps more. or A story in which Keith Kogane and (Y/N), old classmates, meet again on a fateful night on a rescue mission for Shiro. Except that Keith now hates (Y/N)'s guts. What happened and how will that affect the Team of Voltron? Hell, if only (Y/N) knew. --- Not marked mature for smut! --- Credits for the lovely book cover and the banner in the chapters go to @-EL3CTRO on wattpad! --- Weekly updates, Fem!reader, mature content warning bc of violence --- Will be following the plot of "Voltron: Legendary defenders" only loosely. I'm not planning on retelling the whole series with an additional character, so I'll kind of invent a new plot but keep all the most important aspects. English is not my first language so bare with me if you find any mistakes, I'll make sure to proofread though, so they will be kept to a minimum. Neither the Characters, except for (Y/N), or "Voltron: Legendary defenders" belong to me.

"S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. Klance :: Not So Different
Lol, first Klance! Hope you all enjoy! Keith has been haunted since he fought with the Druid. His hand... It just healed... That wasn't a normal thing. Then Zarkon... The emperor told Keith he fought similar to his Galran soldiers. That had honestly scared him. So when the paladins are reunited after being spread throughout space, he tries to hide his insecurities and fears and pain. However, he can't hide it for long. Still he cant stick to the plan when he falls for the prince. What will he choose? Im really sorry I suck so bad at descriptions! Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork.
