They've been through hell and back but they've settled into a happy little community without much trouble, except the occasional drunkard. Life was good, or as good as it can be post civilization.
But one day, a strange visitor upends all of that, whisking him and his wife away on the journey of a lifetime to possibly change the entire course of the driving force of the wasteland. That is, if he can actually make it...

Overlooking details like bloody clothing, chipped teeth, and reports of missing people on the telly make seeing him drinking straight from the milk carton a much more tolerable offense.
