The Special Child [Original]

The last thing I remember is that a very bright light appeared and then I woke up on a ship.

I had woken up in a unfamiliar bed, my belongings on a desk to the side of the bed.

'I don't want to disappoint mom and dad...'

I thought to myself.

'I am the only child of my kind... I guess that I'll just have to keep them guessing... '

"How are you holding up? It must be hard for you."

Amon, the fire djinn, and one of the people I call family, spoke, shocking me a bit, before relaxing.

" I'm okay. I've had worse..."
