Song of the Siren

The siren must feed, the lives of humans being the only thing able to sustain their own. Cassianna has known the act of stalking her prey all her life. However, in a rare show of emotion for a siren, she is determined not to carry the death of the innocent with her, meaning she must carefully select her victims, only claiming those who are guilty of vile acts. After saving the life of a boy who was caught between her and her next victim, she is then forced to endure the not entirely unwanted attention of the human she can never have and the vendetta of one who escaped her, seeking revenge and determined see her dead.
