I'm serious, Gabriel shattered Zenix's wrist and elbow and she retaliated by burning the same wrist and elbow he broke on her, but on him.
Neither of them deserve your sympathy, empathy or pity. Believe me when I say that. And they don't want it either, they're tough, they're big kiddies.
But when both the students are expelled and Zenix is shipped to England to live with the other half of her family, everyone and everything changes.
Zenix' best friends, Castor Fox and Lukas Frasier, change in a big way. Lukas has a total personality flip and turns into a compete asshole, while Castor become best friends with Gabriel.
Gabriel's friends, Castor, Ashton 'Nash' Fox (Castor's slightly older twin brother), Jace Laydon and Ronan Fields almost completely forget about the girl and their battles until she returns from England, 6 years later, with her best friend and almost as evil troublemaker, Blake Reynolds, in tow.
Zenix wasn't always a troublemaker.
Gabriel wasn't always an asshole extraordinaire.
Blake wasn't always a broken criminal.
Jace wasn't always a flirty player.
Will they form an unlikely friendship or continue to argue, fight and harm each other until one is finally finished?

Astren City, and all surrounding area, have the highest crime rate in the northern part of the country. Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all. Salem Heart's father, Jack Heart, happens to be the Astren City Chief of Police, a title which holds a lot of weight and a rank that claims even more power. He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law.
